Wanna ride, ride, RIDE...the strep throat train...CHOO CHOO!

Alright...because we don't have cable, Caleb watches his quality childrens' programming on PBS. One of the shows that he loves, other than Sesame Street, is the Dinosaur Train! Because of this show, he has started to really LOVE trains! You would think it would be dinosaurs, but no, he likes the train! Adam and I have been looking to see if there were any cute inexpensive sets out there to get him (the official Dinosaur Train set doesn't come out until August), so we went to IKEA. Have I mentioned before how much I LOVE IKEA?? We actually have gotten Caleb a few toys from there and they had the cutest little train set for not that much...perfect for our boy and doesn't take up a lot of space! We set it up Sunday Morning...good choice of day, right?!? and he just had a BLAST!

Very focused on the train here!

He's so excited, he forgot to open up his eyes!

Caleb was having so much fun, he didn't want to come to breakfast...at this point, the train was taking a time out!

When we finally got him to eat, he then neglected his morning ritual of milk and blankie...this NEVER happens, which means he liked the train!

One of the things that we found he likes to do is lay on his stomach and watch the train go through the "Time Tunnel" He'll say, "Time Tunnel Approaching", or "Tickets Please", or "I have a Hypothesis!" All quotes from the show...Adam likes the last one!

Caleb's pantless look...Best Look in the World!!!

LATER LAST WEEK:
Caleb started having those "restless nights" where he wouldn't sleep and neither would I! Caleb is normally a great sleeper so of course momdar (that's mom radar) starts working! I gave it another night and he wasn't bad, but then he wouldn't eat a lot. He was also starting to sound like he had rocks in his throat. I started to rule things out and then decided that it was time for the doctor. She took one look at his throat and was like "Ohhh my, that is BAD!" So of course after the throat culture, my baby had contracted is first case of Strep. All he has wanted is snuggles and tickles! He has been on antibiotics and things have slowly started getting back to normal! Poor Boy!! Poor mom and dad too...we need SLEEP!!!!!

So Sad!!!!
