AH-MAH-ZING!!

That's how i'm going to describe our three week jaunt to the Utah/Idaho regions of the United States!
Caleb and I flew up first (Ad came a week and a half later)...and stayed/played with GMA and GPA DeRoest in SLC! We had tons of fun...especially when my nephews Kooper and Maddox came up to play! I, of course, helped the economy a little bit and spent lots of time with my mommy (I love you mom!) And of course we had a great time with GPA D., Aunt Nikki, Uncle Mikie, Aunt Bailey, and Uncle Blake!! It was so refreshing to also get out of the blistering heat of Houston for a while and spend some time outside...WE MISS DRY WEATHER!!
We also took our annual trip within a trip and headed up to Bear Lake to see the rest of the extended fam! The lake was up SUPER high and was a little murky, but that didn't stop my boy from going in and standing in it...Caleb just likes to stand in the water...if i try to get him to swim it...he freaks out...Thanks swim lessons!
It was fun to watch all of the cousins play together...we also got to see and visit a bit with Grandma Great...i didn't get the camera out much...which i just now realized and am KICKING myself...Next time y'all...next time!!!
When then took a vacation in a vacation in a vacation and headed up to Stanley to see Ad's parents! Again, all we did was play, play, and play some more! I swear Caleb went to bed exhausted EVERY NIGHT! He got to see and play with his cousins McKinlee and Logan, we got to visit with family and ate some good grub! As always, we were super spoiled, and appreciate Nana for taking Caleb so that Adam and i could spend some time together!
There are still A LOT of pics that I had to glean through (I love that word glean), so this is what I have picked out...as always we had the HARDEST time coming home after spending time with our families...we miss and love y'all SO MUCH but are grateful that we were able to come and see ya! We'll be home soon!!

PS...he still won't tell me when he needs to go potty...Caleb is definitely a STUBBORN work in progress!!! I still say he gets that from his DAD!!!


Adam, Jared and I took an epic 10 mile (round trip) hike to Marten/Kelly Lake...on the way back we even had Adam fill our water packs up with filtered water from a stream just like this one...WOW! just like the pioneers...no dysentery here!!
