Where did everything go??

We are moving onto Caleb's latest obsession...putting things in the dirty clothes hampers (i.e. shoes, toys, everything but clothes!) Sometimes you just don't notice that anything is missing until you can't find the match to your shoe and SURPRISE! There it is in the hamper! Caleb has another little cold this weekend and lucky duck got out of church AGAIN because of it!! He has done an excellent job of resting and still has his appetite which is a good thing! We'll have to keep an eye on him and hopefully he'll feel better this weekend because we are planning a little trip to San Antonio to go to Sea World! Of course I will be posting a lot of pics from our trip next week...stay tuned!

What I found in Caleb's hamper...

What Adam and I found in our hamper...

Caleb with his "who me?" squinty/smiley face...

Working hard to get those eyes open for the flash!

What we found later in our hamper after the shoes were cleaned out...I hope you don't mind looking at our dirty clothes...it just makes the post more interesting right?!?

What we've been up to...

We have been really busy since we got back from Utah with me getting ready for school to start TOMORROW and having Adam go to his ACS (American Chemical Society) Conference in Washington D.C. Ad left the week after we got back and had the opportunity to present his research at the conf. He did an excellent job presenting (I know he did even though I wasn't there) and got to meet up with his old advisor from ISU in Poky! I also sent him on a mission to take as many pictures as he could of the national monuments because we study them in school! He went above and beyond his mission and took about 72 pictures for me while walking ALL over D.C. He told me it was about 10 miles and I believe him!!! He also got to go to the Smithsonian Museums of Natural History and American History. We hope that we can take a family vacation there someday...(especially since I thought the National Mall was a real mall, and told Adam to grab himself some new jeans while he was there!) I am not posting ALL 72 pictures but I hope that these will give you a glimpse of Adam's hard work for his wife!!! Adam left the day that we celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary!! He bought me a beautiful bouquet of flowers and we are planning to go out to dinner soon?!? It has been 6 years of wedded bliss and we're excited for many more!!!!!

Adam loves going inside the Library of Congress because it is just gorgeous inside...my words, not his!

One more from inside the library!

This is as close as Ad got to the White House!

Our favorite picture that Ad took of the Washington Monument!

Meanwhile back in Texas...
I haven't been taking ANY pictures of Caleb lately...we have been really busy getting back into school and our school routines. Caleb started going back to his babysitter Janet's house and of course loves every minute of it! He is climbing EVERYWHERE and his personality is starting to shine much more everyday!! He spent this weekend with a fever from a "Non specific Virus" I thought it might've been an ear infection because he had been getting over a cold, but we took him to the doctor on Saturday and there was nothing wrong with him other than the fever. He still slept pretty well friday night and was snuggly all day saturday. He is doing just fine today and hasn't been very warm, so I'm hoping that he's fought off the infection. He sure acts like it!!! Which means he hasn't snuggled once!!!

My ragglemuffin kid!

Caleb's new thing is climbing onto chairs. He likes to rock in his rocking chair by himself!

Getting down from the rocking chair!

Again...he is quite the ragglemuffin...this is from this weekend, so he hasn't been feeling well!

I LOVE this picture!! This was while I was doing this blog!! You can tell he's feeling much better!

Blowing Kisses

This is something we have been working on for a while...usually Caleb puts his hand up to my lips to blow kisses, but has finally learned to put his hand up to his own lips! Here is Caleb blowing you a few kisses!

The End of our Vaca...with the Salon Treatment!

We made it home from Salt Lake City this past Tuesday and all is well! Caleb did magnificently on the airplane falling asleep when the plane landed...so we had a good nap as soon as we walked into the door! We had a fun time in Salt Lake taking some vacations within the vacation by going to Bear Lake and playing in the sand and water! Caleb loved the sand and water the first day, but the second day didn't want much to do with the lake! Caleb had a great time playing with his cousin Kooper and entertaining everyone with his silliness and at the end of our trip he got to go and visit his Aunt Nikki at her salon and she cut his hair! We had so much fun being able to see our family and will of course, miss them, but know that we'll see them soon!!! What a trip, but it's good to be home!

Having some fun in the sand...

Lake Time...

This is not his happy time...he didn't love that I took him in!

The boat is better than the water!

GPA taking Koop and Caleb for a float in the boat!

Now with Nikki...out a little further!

This was fun to watch...Caleb was laying in the floor drinking his milk when Koop decided that he was going to do it too! He went and grabbed his sippy cup and this is what we got!!!

After this Caleb had to have a sippy cup just like Kooper! Those two were funny together!

Haircut #2 at Lunatic Fringe...Caleb got the star treatment!

It might not show on his face, but he did a really good job and didn't complain one bit!

Little man in a big chair!

The finished product! So CUTE!!!

He loves his Aunt Nikki! Really...he does!
