LAZY SUNDAY...

This has been such a nice relaxing weekend! We had a good run yesterday, spent some time together doing chores (relaxing huh?!), church was great, Ad BBQ'd up some delicious grub, and so now we have to document! Actually you will see that I'm pretty busy getting ready for the end of the school year (3 1/2 more days!) I set myself up to do a scrapbook page for everyone of my students as a keepsake of our school year and of course procrastinate every year until the last 3 1/2 days of school to complete all 18 pages along with everything else I have to do! So while Caleb was taking his afternoon nap I hurried to try to complete a few pages...of course I can't just throw things together, I have to complete each page to the students' personality, so of course...MORE WORK!! It's worth it though. Caleb woke up why I was making some pages and Dad had to entertain him. Normally we're not supposed to play video games on Sunday, but Adam got a new Lego Star Wars game and I let him play while I was working and the baby was napping. As soon as he saw what his Dad was doing, he ran over and relaxed for a good 20 minutes! I had to take some pics...Enjoy!

Proof of my hard work!!! I didn't make it a mess just for the picture!!!!!

Maxin and Relaxin!

My two little geeks watching Star Wars!

Caleb is also obsessed with my lunch box. He seems to find it wherever I put it and just takes it everywhere! I finally got a few action pics of Caleb getting ready for work! LOVE that cheesy smile!

Of course Caleb is sporting his classic white onesie...is there anything else?

Here is also another video of Caleb being completely ADD...this is just a sample of what it's like every hour of everyday in this house, besides the times where he takes a moment to eat or sleep!

Let there be LIGHT!

Sorry I haven't posted for a week...we are coming down to my last few days of school and it seems that it gets just as busy as when school starts!!! Anyway, here are a few pics of my cute boy...again, he's just too CUTE!! I also have included a video of our family just playing. For those of you who know us really well, you know that we don't turn on a lot of lights in our home and at nighttime, we just use a lamp in our family room...I rarely turn on the main light in the family room, but to get this video, I had to turn it on! This is what Caleb does when the big light gets turned on! It's so funny to watch him because he can't keep his eyes off of it!!!

LOVE those CURLS!

I just have to take a second and say how much I am loving Caleb's hair! It has gone curly which is so much fun! I don't know how long it's going to stay around and had to get pics while I still can! In our morning routine I have to spray on his special Paul Mitchell Kids Conditioning Product along with a little gel to keep the curls! Of course by the end of the day the hair on top has straightened out but those ends stay curly...again I LOVE IT!!!

In the morning all done up...what a head of hair!!!

I still can't get him to take a picture without squinting...

Just a little side view...

Later that evening...

Caleb actually got more dinner on his face that in his mouth!

If you look closely at his nose, it has a little owie on it...Caleb took a little walk with his dad on Sunday and got a head of himself and fell face first on the ground. He has his mom's grace! I already can forsee a lot worse...the kicker is, he wasn't wearing shoes!

His hair still looks fabulous though...can you tell that I LOVE it???

Linus...

This is just a little video showing Caleb's LOVE for his blankies. He has about 10 flannel ones that GMA D has made for him that we put into a rotation. In this video he has found another blankie and is not sure which one to take with him! By the way, Caleb hasn't taken a binky in a long time, and actually sucks on the corners of his blankie...it's amazing how quick he can find them!!!

Happy Mother's Day!!

I hope you all have a Happy Mother's Day!! I just want to take a second to say how grateful I am for my calling as a mother! I feel so blessed to be given this opportunity by my Heavenly Father to watch over this precious little spirit that has come into our home. Caleb has truly been the biggest blessing...so much so we actually haven't left him with a Babysitter yet!! i know that he goes to one throughout the week, but the weekends has been another story!! We love him so much and look forward to that smiling face everyday when we get home from work! I love my little Texas Eternal Family very much and hope that we will someday be blessed with more little munchkins to fill our home!
On that note, Caleb and his Dad got me a sweet little remembrance ring that has Caleb's birthstone in it (which is aquamarine blue!) It is sooooo pretty! Again I am so blessed to have such a thoughtful husband and a sweet little boy!

I know it's not that clear...I tried to take a close up with the camera, but it was all blurry...I guess we need a new camera!!!

Caleb did NOT want to take pictures today so this is the best one we got of the two of us!!

Earlier in the week...

I'm going to first apologize for my little ragglemuffin boy! He will be getting a hair trim soon!!! Also he LIVES in his little "mom beaters" that's what I call his little white onesies!
Because I am training for the marathon, after school I run on the treadmill in my room...ANYWAY Caleb hangs out in his Exersaucer and watches Elmo why I workout and has learned to hang out in our room all of the time now! Here are some pics of Caleb playing on the treadmill!! Yes he pulls his Dad's socks out of the drawer and yes, he is loving my IPOD!! He just wants to be like his MOM and DAD!!!

Waving and Clapping

FINALLY Caleb has started to wave and clap!! He can be so stubborn sometimes and this has been one of those things that has taken him a while to master! We can get him to do this the most when he is eating, so excuse his messiness!!! But you'll see, once he starts, he doesn't stop! Enjoy!

Shoesday!

Hey y'all...I hope that you're having and excellent weekend! We decided to take a little trip to our Houston Premium Outlet Mall today to get some running garb. I (Adam is still waiting on his work schedule) am going to be running the Bryce Canyon 1/2 marathon with my dad, brother and sister when we travel north in July, so we needed to get to a store that sold excellent running shoes because Adam needed a new pair. Like I said earlier, he doesn't know for sure if he'll be able to do the marathon, but we are still going to train together nonetheless! Officially our training starts Monday, but we actually have been getting into the swing of how it is going to work for the past two weeks! I am so excited that I get to do this with my family (and hopefully my hubby) beside me! Anyway, we had everything we needed bought in like the first 20 minutes of arriving so decided to look around a little longer! We ended up passing a Crocs Outlet and I decided that Caleb has walked around in socks long enough! Now I know what you're thinking...Crocs aren't the cutest shoes, but for where we live, they may be the most comfortable...AND they looked so DARN CUTE on Caleb's little fat feet!!! Of course I wouldn't by the Robeez because they were too expensive, but I'm kind of a hypocrite for spending 25 dollars on a pair of tiny Crocs! Anyway, here is my boy with his new SHOES!! He actually can walk in them rather well...let's see how long they last!!!

Little Croc feet...I finally got a good picture after chasing him around the apartment for like 15 minutes! This kiddo doesn't slow down!

We call this the Chris Farley face..."Oh gosh, those fries look good...can I have some?"

I'm sooo surprised you're taking a picture! Notice the shoes have almost been kicked off!

Caleb reading his new shoes an Elmo story about getting dressed!

Now this pic I wasn't supposed to post, but Adam was so proud of his sweat band and new shoes!!! I thought he looked like the older brother from Goonies!! all he needs is the sweatshirt with the sleeves cut off and a weight lifting belt to complete the ensemble.."HEY YOU GUYS!!!"

Caleb excited about Dad's shoes too...he spent a long time over by this box, and actually put another one of his Dad's shoes on the bench for extra fun!

What Caleb would look like if he was a girl with a headband on!!!

Almost doesn't look like the same kid right?!?

So pretty!!

We thought Caleb looked like he was going to break into a little dance here...he's ready to step-ball-change!
