Caleb's Merry First Christmas!

Because we are going to be traveling up north for the holidays and can't take a lot of presents with us, Santa Claus came early to the Colson household, and our boy woke up to presents from Santa under the tree. Because he doesn't understand what in the heck is going on, we waited until tonight to have him really dig in and see what Santa brought. He got a Tickle Me Cookie Monster, Two Elmo Soft Cloth Books and a Plush Color Ring Stacker (that one is from Santa's Helpers GMA and GPA D!) He of course has gotten clothes, but we didn't feel the need to take pictures of those! He also got a cute stuffed Dalmatian Puppy from his Aunt Trina, who works with Ad in the Chem Lab!
What another great First for Caleb!

Presents under the tree!

I've been a good boy...look what Santa brought me!

I love my Cookie Monster and he's just my size! I didn't even get scared when he started making those silly noises!

Ummmm...it's getting close to bed time...this is a classic Caleb face!

Reading Mom and Dad a bedtime story...

Realizing that he can't read upsidedown!

Neko's old habit where ever the tree may be!

I took this picture last week...Caleb is trying to watch his soaps and his dad was getting in the way...

It has also been very chilly down here lately and actually snowed little pellets last week for like 15 minutes. A majority of the kids down here have NEVER seen snow and just went CRAZY when they saw what was going on outside. It was so funny to watch them get so excited! Of course the cold weather doesn't last long because tomorrow is supposed to get up to 80 degrees again. That's just the price you pay for living in the south. I know I'll be looking forward to the milder weather, when we get up to the freezing cold weather of the north...if I don't post before then, I hope that y'all have a merry Christmas!!!!!

What a WEEK!! 9 Months Today!

WOW! We've had just the busiest week starting off with me having to Caleb to the doctor for the first time for something other than his regular check ups. He had been really congested during the Thanksgiving Holiday, but didn't really act like anything was bothering him. Finally on Sunday night, I started to really see the effects and took him in on Monday. It turned out the he had a double ear infection and RSV, which is a respiratory virus kind of like Asthma. Anyway, we have to give Caleb breathing treatments at home every 4 to 6 hours, which is what you're seeing above. Caleb absolutely hates it, so I have to wrap him in a blanket like a burrito! He's finally learning to settle down and take them and has been feeling a lot better! I'm glad that we made it this far without Caleb being REALLY sick! I'm hoping that he'll stay healthy as the weather gets a little cooler! I have to take him in for his 9 month check up tomorrow and I'm excited to see how much he has grown.

We also went and got his pictures taken with Santa. He was truly puzzled to who that man was in the red suit and the look that he gave Santa was priceless!! We also went and had our family pictures taken last weekend and didn't really get a ton of shots because we had a very impatient munchkin. It probably wasn't the best idea to go and take him when he wasn't feeling well, but he really wasn't acting sick!! We'll get some more when we head north for Christmas...Bailey don't forget your camera!!!!! Anyway, we hope that y'all had a great week! Here are some more happier pics from ours!

My muchkin on a roll...he's starting to move up to his knees!! We're hoping for some movement to go along with that soon!

A little smirk...

Our Christmas Tree...don't worry, we put it on our dining room table so Caleb wouldn't be tempted to grab. Neko the cat still lays underneath it!!

Bath time smiles with Daddy!

Exercising in the ExerSaucer! Caleb can really get bouncing and moving in this thing, I'm waiting for him to tip it over!

I've just noticed that Caleb isn't wearing pants in any of these pictures! I do dress him in pants...sometimes they just don't get put back on! His knee socks make up for them!
