Happy Belated Valentine's Day!

Live in Babysitter...

A week and a half ago Caleb's babysitter fell and broke her ankle in 3 places. Of course, I called my mom like right after I found out that Janet's ankle was broken, told her to check her flights and be prepared to come down and watch Caleb for the week...

She flew down last Sunday and left yesterday to go back home! What a trooper being kooped up in our apartment all week! At least Caleb was here to entertain her! Caleb still has to go to a different place for the next few weeks, but it will be okay...he knows that gal who is going to be watching him! We're grateful for GMA and that she came down to play! Caleb was upset when she left and has been asking for her this morning!


Caleb turns 2 in less than a month, and it seems like he has grown up so fast these past few weeks! Of course loving on his blankie has stayed the same. I thought that this was so cute...usually he just loves his corners, but this time it looks like he's stuffed half of his blankie in his mouth! He's still our little Linus!

This past week, we've started to notice a lot more things that Caleb can do...Caleb can sing Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star, and say his ABC's and 123's! We can actually show him the alphabet and have him pick out letters and he knows which ones to find! It's pretty amazing! GMA worked with him on rubbing noses and giving kisses and he showed her how he can count! We put a few things out for him and he'll count them! I just have to brag because I'm so proud of my boy!


Along with the alphabet and numbers, our Sesame Street Fanatic, knows all of the Sesame characters which is HILARIOUS! I guess it doesn't help that we really only get him Sesame Street books...but he LOVES them!! It's the cutest when he says Rosita! The only reason I'm getting through this blog right now is because Sesame Street is on...


We're getting excited to see much more amazing things from our boy during these up coming months! He is growing up so fast and it's fun to see him change!

Who Ate the Soap??

Okay...I didn't feed it to him...Caleb has been obsessed with eating the soap for as long as I can remember. We have to hide it from him so he doesn't put it in his mouth, but this time, he found it! He also took a big bite out of it as you can see!! I was waiting for him to get sick or something, but he just munched on it like it was a piece of candy! Anyway, his new thing is also laying down in the tub as the water is being drained...HILARIOUS!!!




YUM...there goes our punishment of washing Caleb's mouth out with soap...
