I Love Target...

Monday and yesterday we had some really horrible weather and actually a lot of flooding in our area. Because of this, they closed school on Tuesday! Because we had a day off, Caleb and I decided to take a little trip to target (It was more Caleb's idea...not mine!! We had some fun there...maybe a little too much fun since we all came out with some fun shirts, pj's, an Elmo DVD and MORE! We spent quite a bit of time just looking and playing around which I feel is the best way to spend a day off! Other than playing at home together! Anyway, I love Target's T Shirt selection and found Caleb a Star Wars shirt! His dad was soooo proud! Caleb really won't sit still for pictures anymore so you take what you can get from the mover and shaker! We love our boy!

Look at the drool on his shirt!! I swear he's been teething for like two weeks but nothing has shown up yet...is this normal for molars?? His gums are completely swollen! That's why his mouth is open...or is it that whenever I take the camera out now, this is the face I get!

I know what you're thinking and yes, Caleb has figured out how to work the controller...

Showing us a demo of his sweet gaming skills!

LUKE, LLLUUUUKKKEEEE, I am your FAATTHHEERR!!!

This would be an extra cute pic if only I could get those eyes to stay open!

This is what happens now if Caleb doesn't get something he wants. In this picture, Caleb has just been told NO by mom when he tried to get the camera from her...poor boy!

The other night Adam and I woke up to a light shining in the kitchen. As we walked out to see what was going on, we noticed a 3 foot tall munchkin rootin through the fridge for a midnight snack! I reckon his one chicken strip from Chick-fil-A wasn't filling enough!!!!! I'm hungry Mother...I'm hungry!

Jelly Belly

On Sunday evening we sat down to watch a family movie after all had been said and done with the day...I had put (more like stuffed) Caleb into jammies that were maybe getting too small for him when Adam and I noticed his little belly that was poking out. I'm starting to question whether he is maybe eating more than he should, but I'm not worried...I LOVE seeing that belly poking out!!! Here we are together on a quiet Sunday Evening...for us!

No treat for Caleb??

The Jelly Belly...so cute!

For some reason Caleb thinks that he has to walk with something in his hand...helps with balance??

Getting that walking thing down pretty good!

Taking a break...which for this kid is like 5 seconds! We got a picture just in time!

Walking and Weather...

I tried to get these onto my post from yesterday but, the computer didn't want to post them. Today...SUCCESS!

This first video is of Caleb doing some more walking and of course getting into everything in his path! This is his preferred choice of transportation now, with an occasional crawl or a surrogate walker (which is when we have to pick him up!) He walks with his feet poking out which makes him look more like he is waddling! If has been fun watching him go from 2 steps to walking all over the place. Our next purchase will now be one of those fun backpacks with the leash!!

I also had to post this video I took for our snowbirds up north...we have had two days of torrential downpours, thunder/lightning and of course a tornado watch. I haven't asked anyone the last time a tornado has touched down in this area, but if you were here to look at the sky...it was pretty nerve racking! Anyway, here is a little clip of what we did yesterday! Caleb helped me commentate this one!

Happy Birthday Aunt Nikki!!

Caleb wanted me to post a picture of him with his Aunt Nikki because today is her very special day! He also wanted to tell her how much he loves and misses her!!! We hope that your day is special and even though you literally ran a marathon today, hope all of your birthday wishes and dreams come true!
WE LOVE YOU NIKKI!!!!!

Happy Easter y'all!

The Easter bunny found us all the way down here in Houston and set Caleb up with some SWEET STUFF...and I don't mean CANDY!!! Along with Easter fun you will see that we took our 3rd trip to the Alligator Park in 3 months...Ad's parents are down for a visit and we had to take them to one of the main attractions of Houston! It was a cloudy day and there weren't a lot of gators on the trail until we got a little further and they showed up. As we were getting ready to leave, we walked out on the pier and we saw a MONSTER Gator! This thing was HUGE!! Anyway, Caleb missed it because he decided to take a snooze! What a kid! We hope that you had a Happy Day!

Look at the huge gator Caleb!........Caleb?

It doesn't look big from this pic...our zoom isn't that fantastic, but believe me...HUGE!

Holy Shnikes!! That's what I got?!?

Caleb want wingie!!

FINALLY...some kind of a cute picture!!

The Easter Bunny spread!

A pic from today...I wish he would've opened his eyes!!

Sneakin peeks into my purse!!!

More of my boy walking!! At least it's more than 2 steps and he falls on his bum instead of his face this time!!!

Open Your Eyes!!!

I spoke too soon with saying that Caleb was used to the flash when you can clearly see that he isn't!!! I just thought I'd share some of these cute pics from the week!
Enjoy!

If you look closely, you can see where he cut his eyelid...OUCH!! His little shirt speaks the truth!

Where's the camera...oh there...I'll just close my eyes now!

Proof he's sleeping soundly...the flash is on here!

This is Caleb's impression of the baby from Willow...he's looking at me like I'm the evil sorceress Queen Bavmorda! If you know your Willow, you know what I'm talking about!! I would like to thank my bro Mike for the inspiration behind the pic!

Caleb on the Move!!

Believe it or not, I just haven't been taking many pictures of the kiddo lately! I know that's CRAZY right?!? So we had a little mini photo shoot of Caleb just getting into some mischief. He has gotten braver and has started letting go of the couch and standing on his own when all of the sudden...STEPS WERE TAKEN! I repeat, STEPS WERE TAKEN!!! so amidst all his moving around, I got a small video! Of course after all of the excitement, we were getting ready for a bath and Caleb lost his balance and fell into the side of the sink and cut his eye. It bled a little bit, but I think will be okay. I was having an internal freak out, and had to call my mom really quick for her to tell me that it will be one of many, we should get him a helmet, but wait a minute...it might not fit him because his head is so big! An adult one might!!!!! My poor boy! The rest of the evening was fine with Caleb bouncing off of the couch, and crawling over EVERYTHING!!! What an afternoon! Stay tuned for some more walking!

My little ragglemuffin! We're still holding out for the haircut!

Sitting on his new favorite chair...Da's chair! That's how Caleb says it!

He sits like this ALL of the time! I don't know how kids sit like this!

Caleb standing without holding onto the couch! This is before he decides to take some steps!

Caleb mad at me for not letting him have the camera!

I'm not sure what this face is...

Can you believe it?!? Yes he took a small face dive at the end, but you can see that it had no effect on him! I guess we should get him fitted for a helmet after all!!!!
