In the year 2008 in the month of November, the Colson's embarked on a new adventure...their first Thanksgiving Feast! and BOY we are proud of ourselves! I finally got to make my own turkey...all 18 pounds and Adam and I made our favorite Thanksgiving grub to help start our own family tradition when we don't have the opportunity to go to our families houses! It has felt like a holiday today...we got up, watched the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade and cooked all morning! Adam took care of the sweet potatoes and homemade cranberries, while I made the rest. We both took care of getting the turkey ready and then Ad carved it up for us! Caleb of course, had his Thanksgiving nap while we ate our feast, but he has had fun playing and having mom and dad home! We are going to start putting up Christmas tomorrow and I'm so excited! I love this time of year and we just have so much to be thankful for! We know that we wouldn't be where we are at today and have all that we do without the help of our Heavenly Father and know that we are truly blessed and guided by Him! We are thankful for our little family and our families that are up north! We miss you all and are excited to see y'all soon! Enjoy!
Ummmm yeah...we took a picture of our food, we are THAT proud!
I got this pic while Caleb was munching on his little Gerber Puffs! It looks like his real teeth right?!?
We also took Caleb to his first college football game last Saturday (Rice vs. Marshall)! It was a lot of fun, and Caleb got to go out on the field before the game started to cheer on the players. We went with our good buddies Mike and Julie Hill and stayed through the 3rd quarter (believe it or not, it was starting to get a little chilly and Munchkin was TIRED!) I wanted Sammy the Owl to come over to where we were sitting to take a pic with Caleb but he stayed on the other side of the field...bummer! Anyway, it was a great game, and Caleb really enjoyed watching the band make all of that noise!

Hi mom...where are you?

Our little linebacker showing some serious binkie biting!

Dreaming of the day when he can lead the band!
Our seats were right on the fifty yard line...AWESOME!
